Go-To Body Oils

Welcome to the obsessive world of my top shelf body oils. My everyday’s, my golden children, my repurchases again and again and again. Here’s what I have in my personal arsenal, what are your go-to’s?
Argan Oil
My obsession : My everything, this oil never lets me down. If I need a boost of moisture I’ll use this oil on my hair, face, and body. My husband even uses this to maintain his beard! I’ve been using this for years but have never been loyal to one brand versus another. Every one I’ve purchased has performed just as well as the last.
When I use it : I use this oil every time I wash my hair and every time I need an extra boost. Whenever I wash my hair (every 4-5 days), I’ll use this oil immediately and allow my hair to air dry. This applying this oil to the tips of my hair helps my scalp get less oily between washes. I’ll also use this oil whenever I’m needing an extra punch of moisture anywhere.

Rosehip Oil
My obsession : I’ve been hooked on this one for YEARS. Ever since I’ve incorporated this oil into my routine, I’ve been loyal to the Radha Beauty brand. I’m very careful to use it only at night, since it is a BRIGHT orange. Don’t worry, by the time you wake up it will be fully soaked in and you’ll be back to your normal self. It’s an absolutely wonderful facial oil that I’m forever addicted to.
When I use it : I’ll use this oil every.single.day. After I wash my face at night, I’ll follow up immediately with a dime-sized amount. I’ll pat it into my face and work any excess into my neck. I’m so dedicated to a moisturizing oil at night that, whenever I’m out of this oil, I’ll replace it with my argan oil.

Cannabis Oil
My obsession : A newer obsession but definitely has earned it’s high regards. I purchased the Kiehl’s Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Herbal Concentrate and I’m hooked. It’s pricey but I only use it in special circumstances. I’m still on my first bottle but it’s lasting A LOT longer than I thought it would (another plus in my book).
When I use it : My favorite way to use this is mixed with my rosehip oil at night when my skin is acting up. The ingredients are meant to induce a calming effect, making this my go-to when my horomones inflict havoc on my face. Kiehl’s to the rescue!

Tea Tree Oil
My obsession : A long standing staple and another hero for my hormones. I have purchased a couple bottles of this and it lasts SO long. It lasts so long, mostly, because it’s such a concentrated amount that it can only be used in small doses. I wet a Qtip with some water, dip it into the tea tree oil, and then apply it. Without it watered down, it’s WAY to powerful and will dry your skin out terribly.
When I use it : I only use it on the most stubborn acne spots. I use to treat every spot with this but found it to be so strong that it would just dry my skin out. Using it on only the worst of the worst seemed to neutralize it for me and has worked perfectly!
